E. van Wijk Logistics
E van Wijk is a passionate niche player in transport and logistics, being present In Romania for over 30 years. We have a dedicated and well-trained employees, the large service portfolio and the fleet diversity with more than 180 trucks. We are constantly growing our logistics network and provides our customers the optimum European coverage both for road transport and logistics.
In Romania, we operate in 3 logistics warehouses: one in Cluj county (since 1998) and two in Bucharest area since 2007. Total available storage and handling space is over 33.000 m² from which 8.200 m² with temperature controlled options.
E. van Wijk Forwarding
E van Wijk Forwarding is divided into a group of companies that all provide logistics services in a business-to-business nature. At the group level, despite of the similarities between them, each entity has its specialization, focusing on different types of transport and destinations.
In Romania, Europa Expediție is the forwarding company with over 20 years of expertise on the transport and related services market. Having created an extensive network of partners both domestically and internationally, the company covers transport all over the Europe.
E. van Wijk Real Estate
We are a group known for the transport and logistics services provided. We have grown over time in other areas as well, real estate is one of these areas. What exactly do we do in this direction? We own commercial spaces, production warehouses and warehouses for logistics services which we rent to specific providers. We build long-term partnerships, based on clear agreements and where trust is valued and encouraged – regardless of the branch. We want to contribute to the success of people we interact with: employees, customers and partners.

First acquisition of new trucks (Euro 2)
At E van Wijk the expansion continues and the first acquisition of new trucks was done, to join every day the already existing vehicles in the fleet, at that time – an obvious development.
Acquisition of new Euro 3 trucks
Latest technology, at the time, these new Euro 3 trucks hit the road as part of our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental footprint. In addition a positive impact, is achieved by improving the level of services offered to the customers.
Opening the branch in Bucharest
One of the first things any entrepreneur wishing to expand the business must think about, is the best location for their next branch. For us and our team the logical step seemed Bucharest, to provide our business with another stream of income as well as ensuring we cover all our customer’s expectations.

Acquisition of Euro 5 trucks
E van Wijk has announced that it has embarked on a path towards sustainable transportation & logistics with the acquisition of latest generation Euro 5 trucks, keeping a close grip on growth.
Turnover of over 20 mil €
After two decades since the company foundation in Romania, E. van Wijk logistics S.R.L. reached a turnover of more than EUR 20 million, operating at maximum capacity. For the future the company plans are, to increase even further.
Turnover of over 30 mil €
The logistical service specialist E. van Wijk, wants to conclude the current financial year 2018 with the highest turnover of the company’s history. The family-owned company has also grown the number of employees, consequently implementing and in pursuit of our growth strategy.
Opening the second branch in Bucharest
We have been investing continuously in our expansion, adding 8.000 square meters of warehouse capacities, to further optimize the company’s performance.
GDP certification
E van Wijk grows its portfolio by further developing its niche market presence. 2019 we start the GDP certification process confirming our Pharma and Healthcare knowledge and practices.
New corporate identity
Our new logo represents the acronym of our name, stylized in a modern form that suggests unity, strength and continuity.
The successful story that continues for 30 years in Romania
2022, is a year full of meaning for us, a year that reveals the continuity of the Romanian business, from one generation to another, for 30 years. It was not a straight road, but every kilometer we traveled took us closer to what we are today: a reliable supplier, a sustainable company that provides security to its employees, care to the community it belongs to, a company that provides high quality services to customers and their partners.
Warehouse Expansion (Cluj)
At the beginning of 2024 we completed the expansion project of our warehouse located in Cluj by 3.000 sqm, totaling 10.000 sqm of storage space (just in Cluj-Napoca warehouse). The process continued with the renovation of our existing warehouse, because we want to offer sustainable logistics services to our customers, as promised.
